IFG Role:

IFG served as the owner's representative for the Detroit Tigers, overseeing all aspects of the team's development of their new ballpark in downtown Detroit.  IFG's responsibilities included design administration, operations reviews, constructability reviews and construction oversight.  IFG was responsible for the direct purchase of the scoreboard, video board, video replay system, telecommunication system, kitchen and foodservice equipment and many of the Tigers' FF&E components.

Description: The state of the art facility includes 40,000 seats, 105 private suites, a stadium club and restaurant, parking ramp for 1,000 spaces and 1,500 surface parking spaces.  The project included demolition of 30 existing buildings, environmental remediation and site improvements to prepare the 55-acre site for Comerica Park and the construction of Ford Field for the Detroit Lions.
