IFG Role:

IFG was retained by the New York Yankees in 2007 to assist the Yankees with planning and start-up consulting services.  IFG's efforts were focused on assisting the Yankees to maximize operating efficiency and manpower staffing during the months that lead up to the opening of Yankee Stadium.

IFG's responsibilities included providing the Yankees with detailed design reviews for operational functionality; facilities services planning, including the selection of a CMSS system; review and analysis of warranties/service agreements and process; procurement of specialized FF&E items and services including development and analysis of the RFP process for the utilities and housekeeping services; implementation of the workforce management system; assisting with training and authoring of employee handbooks; grand opening tasks and checklists; and onsite assistance with opening the ballpark.
